I have Roku. It's pretty good, comes with a remote and what not. Has Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and like a million other channels. I like it for the $50 I paid for it. Sometimes it glitches out, but usually it works pretty well.

It's like Netflix but free. They update their queue and list every month.

                Netflix and ChromeCast.

I am thinking of stacking another service or two along with Netflix to increase choices.

                ..and Torrent.

Amazon fire tv stick is like $40 and with Amazon prime and netflix there's tons to watch. Also there's a new app called sling tv and on it you can get a bunch of live cable channels for $20 a month, and you can watch anything from the last 3 days as well.

I haven't had cable for years and the fire tv stick is the best device I've had so far.

I have DirecTV and supplement it with a FireStick. I have a ChromeCast too, though I really only use it on my NotSmartTV to cast from my tablet/phone.

+1 For the firestick. It does the job, can't complain for the price.

I'll be upgrading to one of these soon.

I'm just not a big fan of app based streaming.

I got a Roku 3 as a Christmas gift from my sister-in-law. I can honestly say it was a great choice by them because I don't watch cable enough to warrant the high monthly charges. Add on Sling for $20 a month and you're pretty much watching the only interesting things on TV anyways (ESPN, AMC, IFC, El Rey, TNT, History, just to name a few). I piggy back off someone else's NHL package and I'm set. Netflix seems to run better on my Roku app than on my PS3, so I stream it from there.
