I have a Harman Kardon reciever w/ a Kenwood unpowered sub. I have an amp but the input is a dual coax (left and right signal) and the reciever sub output is only one coax. If I just plug the one coax cable from the reciever into the amp, it doesn't work. But my DVD player has optical that I send to the reciever and coax that I am sending to the amp.
The only prob w/ it set up like that is that since the signal is coming from the DVD player and not the reciever, the signal isn't just for the sub. Soo I get voices and stuff coming through the sub. The amp has an equalizer that gets helps a LOT but some voice and stuff still gets through. Is there a way to wire it up better or am I SOL?
