Forza 5 lap challenge #1

I'm board and no one made a challenge thread for forza 5 so here it goes.

First challenge

Run type: solo

Car: 1973 BMW 2002 turbo

Class: B 550

Track: Laguna Seca

Time: 1:47:810



Each challenge I will change the car, track etc. since I just bought a 2002 race car I've been playing with it on forza lol. Winner of the challenge gets to choose the next challenges setup if they wish to or I will.

Submit your time by end of the day on the 12th winner gets to pick new challenge the 13th or 14th

Done. I decided to play fair and use a controller.

1:44.985 with a clean lap. Obvs with Manual /w Clutch, Simulation steering, no ABS, TCS, or assists.

I can guarantee on a real life track, I would suck, since I'm a novice when it comes to driving a manual and car control. Forza and racing sims are honestly how I learned the basics of driving a stick!

So, do I come up with my own challenge? ;D

This makes me want to buy an Xbox one now. Used to have Forza tournaments back in the day with another forum. 8 person races, points system, etc. Do I get an asterisk from playing on Forza 4? haha

I wonder how close lap times on a 360 would be... maybe we should include a separate 'class' for us poor folk? I'm with IronFreak. Can't justify spending that dough right now.

I'm in agreement. There's not a big difference between 4 and 5 other than graphics and car selection, so I vote the 360 players get involved too.

my friend and I are very competitive and have been hunting fast laps on tsukuba for a while now. Our cars are 581pt E30 M3s (all mods except engine only has race cam and race exhaust). Also no aero.

Fastest we have found is a 1:02.4. Pretty quick!!! We will have to try this challenge (we are on Forza 4).

Also his and mine m3's have completely different suspension tunes, however both are equally quick.

Forza 4 drivers can get involved too. Just have use tracks that are on both consoles as well as cars.
