Forza 24 Minutes of Le Mans Challenge

I know we've got another Forza Challenge thread going but I figured with the 24h Le Mans coming up this weekend we should have a Le Mans Challenge as well. So here's the rules:

Le Mans Circuit de la Sarthe (Full Circuit)

XBOX One users will be running LMP cars. I don't know the classes in Forza 5 but I imagine most of you know what a prototype car is.

XBOX 360 users will be running GT cars (R3 class).

I know Forza doesn't have the most recent version of every race car in the series so anyhing '09 up is acceptable.

Fastest time by Sunday at midnight wins

Did a quick few laps in the #83 Ferarri F430GT. Class R3 800. 4:03.612
I'm sure I could be faster but not sure if I'll have time to play anymore this weekend.

I was timing the corvettes around Le Mans last year and they were running around 4:10.000. Of course they aren't balls to the wall driving every lap but cool to compare none the less.

Got a few minutes this morning before getting back on the road!

Here's my first flying lap in the Jaguar, which was the only GT car I already owned:

I don't like it, really.

Know what I do like? The Ferrari 312P. I'm assuming it's not admissible because it's not a GT car, but I did a flying lap anywho:

Did a 3:55.221 on my first lap in an untuned Joss JT1 for fun. That car is ridiculous. Topped at at 200mph about 5 times each lap. I should tune it.

Did you upgrade it to the max R3 800?

It's super frustrating that if you go off way before the final esses, your next lap counts as dirty.

Yeah i am going to try again tonight. Guess I'll extend the date to Wednesday since I haven't had many chances to play haha

Yeah there's a few spots that it will count as dirty even if it's not. Idk the name or number of the turn, but I touched the curb on the right hander before the straight. Somehow that was 'dirty'. Games can only be so realistic I guess
