Yeah i am going to try again tonight. Guess I'll extend the date to Wednesday since I haven't had many chances to play haha
Yeah there's a few spots that it will count as dirty even if it's not. Idk the name or number of the turn, but I touched the curb on the right hander before the straight. Somehow that was 'dirty'. Games can only be so realistic I guess
If it's the same turn, I cut it too far inside, hit those bumps and did a full 360 onto the straight like a champ.
If you're talking about the final tight chicane, stay inside the vertical pylon-looking thingies and you should stay clean. I usually leave a buffer there (and most places, heh) for security, but I know I went up on the first bit of curbing without messing up the lap.
If you mean the right-hander before the Mulsanne, the only issue I ever had there was hitting the huge gators and chucking the car off the track. You can hit those, however, and keep a clean lap. I did it once with the Ferrari and did a broadslide across the track, catching it before I went off the left edge.

There's the left hander before the chicanes with the green curbing that if you put two wheels too far over will count as dirty but also count your next lap as dirty too. Same with Laguna seca. If you go off on that final right hander before the sharp left before the finish line, it will count your next lap as dirty.

The trickiest part of Laguna for me as far as ruining the following lap is the second half of the corkscrew. You can't leave the track at all there and it's right at the start of the final timing sector, so the next lap doesn't count either. I'm very wary there now, haha.
