You're supposed to film that! Glad you're mostly alright. A couple of weeks ago I had a dry ice bomb explode in my hand. That stuff is freaky.

Snap, I had an "experience" that left my ear drum broken...

I was in a pool going under water with a bucket on my head so I could still breath, then I had the great idea to put the bucket on my head and jump in the pool... Well the pressure ruptured my left ear drum and I cannot stick my head underwater now, if I do water gets in it and it hurts like hell for about 2 weeks while it slowly drains out when I sleep.

Anyways, point is we all do dumbass shit.

Both mine have been rebuilt, they use jaw muscle sheath.

Girls love scars, and as a 16 year old, morphine was phenomenal.

I should've have thought to make use of my oxy/acet tanks sooner.

What are some good suggestions for explosive power? Other than blowing your hearing out?

I'll agree, I am regretting ever doing it, but it was a freak accident. I knew that this could have happened and it did. Had it gone off 2 seconds later when I was 10 feet away, things would have been different. Life happenes and I'm paying for it. Ya, it sucks, but to me it's just another few scars and another story to tell.

And for the record, my girlfriend was standing about 10-15 feet away and it didn't even make her ears ring. It was just that it went off in my face.

I can say this, I won't ever make another one. And if I do, the first worlds out of my mouth will be "Here, you light it." ;)

I have two friends that made a matchstick bomb when they were 12. The fuse blew and they both got cut to ribbons by the broken glass. I guess you learned your lesson. Leave the pyrotechniks to professionals like Great White!

Right, TJ. I'm glad I've got you around to tell me what to do, because I obviously don't know.

Umm, no, it wasn't. You intentionally filled it and expected to blow it up.

                          That is not an accident.

It was an accident that it blew up in my face, not that it blew up.

Went to the doctor this morning and I have an appointment two weeks from now. If they aren't healing on their own or getting better by then, I'm going to need surgery. Not much I can do right now.

Dude, what you did (not only lighting a bag full of combustible gas, but telling the world about it) is stupider than asking your internet "community" whether you should go to graduation or a car show/picnic.

You, my good sir, still have a lot of growing up to do.

Dave, this guy took his senior pictures on a Razor scooter. Enough said.
