It got me thinking, what would it take to get a major duct tape brand to create this tape?

I called the number st1g provided and they directed me to their site where I'll fill out a form.

In order to successfully submit the idea to 3M, I would need to patent it.

How difficult would it be to get a patent for this?

Impossible since it's not an original idea.

And how many people would actually buy the tape? I'm in my forties and can count on one hand the number of times I purchased duct tape.
