    had to go and watch Lazarus, amazing video.

    "Oh I’ll be free, Just like that bluebird,

    Oh I’ll be free, Ain’t that just like me"

    when he said that, combined with the imagery in the video, I got chills. hearing him talk about dying being "free" makes you happy for people you personally know that've passed, but were suffering with a disease as he was. its not easy to turn death into that kind of feeling.

    Him lying in a hospital bed, eyes bandaged...than him scribbling fast paced on paper...

    And the song ends as he enters a wooden closet aka coffin...

    It's exactly what he wanted and exactly why Bowie is such a legend even in death. No artist has celebrated their own death in such a fashion/gift for his fans to have. A perfect farewell from him to us.

    I'm younger so I didn't grow up with his music, but I grew up knowing him as the Goblin King haha watched it all the time with my mom.

    but as I got older I realized how influential he was in music. definitely a true artist.
