Any one heard of MS13 in Ca?

salvatruchas. yah, they're big in so-cal, but not so much wannabe street gang lame-o shit. more trafficking (illegals, drugs, etc.) There have been several busts this year, but they've also taken out hits on a couple of ICE agents in the past. they were supposedly responsible for stuffing a federale and two ICE agents in the back of a car, decapitated. yeah.

I do a lot of research on my own free time about Gang Violence, and I can tell you this about MS-13

MS-13 is actually unlike any other gang. Originating from El Salvador, They dont sell drugs to make their money. They all hold down their own individual jobs, and have very few distinguishable features that let people know they are in a gang. Also, unlike most gangs, they dont shoot people with guns. They brutally beat their victims with bats (or other blunt objects) or stab them. Their victims are mostly illegal immigrants, so most of them don't come forward for fear of being deported. They are Brtutally violent, much more so than the most dangerous chapter of the bloods.

There are about an estimated 20 members of MS-13 within a 3 mile radius of my work.

And 300+ Members of the most dangerous chapter of the Bloods gang in Atlantic City, Newark, and Trenton NJ.

My friend a week or so ago was cut off and had his car stolen at gunpoint less than a mile from his house in surburban Phoenix. Guy looked down to cock his gun and my friend took off jumping over fences when he realized they were probably serious when they said to each other he would ID their faces and the guy getting into his car should blast him. When the cops finally believed him he didn't crash into a lightpole 50 feet from where he had been carjacked and steal his $1000s worth stereo equipment it obviously was too late.

I saw some guys attempting to steal my coworkers stereo and we ran down to scare them away, these guys were calm, lifted their shirts, showed me the revolvers they were packing and I said fine, take the cd case. But that is in a office parking lot off the I17. Hell Christmas Eve I look out my window and see someone bash in my E30's window and they were gonna jack my stereo but saw me look out and took off.

It's not the gangs that scare me in surburban Glendale/Peoria/Phoenix (well haven't been directly involved with any of them) it's the illegals or llegals that have nothing to lose when they are stealing a car stereo.

Do you research your area, or gang violence in general? I live in the ghetto but to my knowledge there isn't any large scale gang activity in southern FL (maybe in some parts of Miami).

I would say Miami and atlanta for the South east, Maybe a little in Jacksonvegas....
