Hey guys, i spend most of my day in front of a computer screen. Of that time id say about 30% is actually work related, 30% is R3V, 30%, the Chive, and 10% craigslist.

Im looking for another good time waster site like The Chive where its random interesting shit, not political.

You know when you watch TV, how watching something edumacational feels so much better to watch? This is kinda like that.

https://www.codecademy.com/ - very cool way to learn to code, and you can actually do stuff while you learn.
https://www.khanacademy.org/ - sit back and learn what torque is, how the stock market works, or a 1000 other things.
http://hackaday.com/ - Fun stuff. I sometimes write for this blog.
                      https://learn.adafruit.com/ - more fun stuff!

And of course youtube. I'm subscribed to so many interesting channels that I spend about hour a day learning from. Everything from sailboats, custom car builds, car audio installs, and such. I usually watch while eating breakfast or lunch.

I am with you on this one.

OP, 30% of your time on the Chive?? How many pairs of tits do you need to see?

depends on the corporate culture. At my workplace it's very common to see people watching youtube vids or movies during the workday during the slow season. As long as you are proficiently getting your work done, the owners of the company (who are on site daily) really don't care.
