    A movie does not need to be deep for it to be interesting or original. Donnie Darko just happens to be an older movie that was against the grain of Hollywood blockbuster shitassfacedick cookie cutter movies.

    Descartes is only the beginning of the sick cycle of accumulating facts that contribute towards towards existential anxiety. Try reading about Hegel's discourses on Aesthetics or Frege's metamathematics and then see what you know about knowledge or your existence. ;)

        I can't get on the deep bandwagon, it was a movie, it did its job which was to make you forget about the shit in your life, and tell a story. It also got and still gets the contributors paid. Why don't you guys start explaining the social aspects of Breakfast Club.... that would be more interesting than flaunting your library.

                        Nobody mentioned the e30 in DD. It was in the begining when they were at the bus stop. It drove by as they were walking accross the street or something.
