I "sold" a "friend" a class 3 trailer hitch for a truck, for $35. I got a "Can I give you the 35 bucks tommorow?" Yeah, sure why not. I nagged him for over a month, and today I told him either give me 35 bucks or bring the hitch back in the box. I got the hitch back, lol.
Moral of the story, people can suck, so be careful who you loan money to. There are some people that I will loan to, and most I won't. Most no ask though, since they know that when it comes to money, stiff me and I'll start re-couping me losses with your stuff :) I've actually done it before, too. I went to a kid's work that owed me 20 bucks in gas money, and siphoned all the gas out of his tank, and left him a note on the windshield letting him know that his debt is paid off, and that he should put some gas in his tank since its bone dry. LOL, Yeah I'm an asshole.

There is free Health Care in America silly... you just have to be an illegal alien from Mexico to qualify for it.

No seriously, if you are in serious pain, most dentists and doctors will work out a payment plan with you. You should get that tooth fixed ASAP. If it starts an abcess you could end up in the ER and it will cost 20x more at the Hospital to fix the blood infection you could get from the abcess.

As for the part about lending money to friends and family I was always told to only give money to friends and family if you are willing to give it away without expecting payback instead of lending it. If you do happen to get it back that's just a bonus but don't ever count on it because the truth of the matter is if they were good at handling money in the first place you wouldn't be giving them money to begin with.

I loaned 500$ to a friend two months ago to get her car out from under the payday loan place (those people are crooks, dont do a title loan). The loan was supposed to be for two days, its two months. I'm rethinking the bank of browntown loan policies myself.
