    Nicky Hayden has died

Don't know how many of you follow MotoGP and World Superbike, but this is just tragic.

MotoGP in mourning as former champion Nicky Hayden loses life as a result of road accident.

:( I'd heard he was in a coma, really tragic for that to happen.

Very tragic. Supposedly a security camera caught the accident. Nicky either didn't see or failed to stop at an intersection and was hit full speed by the car.

Really sucks. I was just getting into motorcycle racing when he was coming through the AMA ranks and I was always a Hayden fan after watching that stuff... He had an awesome riding style and a pretty damn cool attitude for being a high profile rider. Lots of people have a lot of good things to say about him, that's for sure.

I've followed MotoGP on and off over the years, but I remember when Hayden won his title in 2006. His loss is a real tragedy to the racing community because is seemed so well liked and respected.

Good short video - no commentary - just Nicky at his best.
