Very tragic. Supposedly a security camera caught the accident. Nicky either didn't see or failed to stop at an intersection and was hit full speed by the car.F80 ///M3 CS

Really sucks. I was just getting into motorcycle racing when he was coming through the AMA ranks and I was always a Hayden fan after watching that stuff... He had an awesome riding style and a pretty damn cool attitude for being a high profile rider. Lots of people have a lot of good things to say about him, that's for sure.- '88 m54 coupe

I've followed MotoGP on and off over the years, but I remember when Hayden won his title in 2006. His loss is a real tragedy to the racing community because is seemed so well liked and respected.
