If I were you OP, I'd take the plunge. Nowhere here in Canada could you purchase such a vehicle at that price, in that condition.

Worse case scenario you can part it out and make a killing (considering RR parts arent' common).

This would be all well and good if it was pretty much anything besides a Rolls Royce, they are a heap of over engineering. Everything cost an arm and leg.

Buy an e24, hard to find parts will annoy you but it will be dependable.

well, I didn't make it. oil was rock hard and vag was frozen shut.

and sunday I got busy taking care of the yard and forgot till it was too late to drive over there.

if I do make it over some day, I will than get pics.
