Ahhhhhhh blast........ you guys are tugging at my heartstrings! It's like once the leaves start turning, you can smell winter on the verge. It's something in the air.

Im glad I was able to bring about all these responses. Im an L.A. city boy. Mt. WIlson every year has snow a scant time away, but I HATE the cold. And Im only talking about 60+ here. God knows how bad I get when its actually cold like 30 and all that. FUck that noise, I had to get up at 5AM and go do community service at Griffith Park when it was 32 degrees last winter (no joke) wearing Chucks, Dickies, no beanie, a sweater, and no gloves. Thats the first time my extremities actually hurt from the cold and I got nauseated from how cold it was. I can handle someone pointing a gun at me (have many times before coolly and calmly) but Im a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles with low temeratures. hahaha

Damn dude, youd die up here it sounds like. Im at St. Lawrence, where it regularly goes below zero during the winter. Hell, I rode last winter when it was -55 with windchill at Whiteface. That was fun. Gondola, blast to mid-station lodge for a beer and ten minute warmup. Then book it back to the base lodge for a 20 minute thaw. I was literally the only guy on the hill. The kicker, 1 foot pow fell the night before. You better believe Im getting the goods.
