a spool delivers equal torque to both wheels 100% of the time with no internal slip, which is what makes them terrible to drive on the street. An LSD delivers equal torque to both wheels but allows internal slip so one wheel can still spin faster than the other for going around corners.

That motor isn't a whole lot heavier than the M30, which people do all the time. Seams to me that it's just a way to lessen suspension travel even more. It would be interesting to see more pictures of the car from outside the engine bay to see just how low the car is.

Maybe hes not a fan of adding unsprung weight?(yes i know i they weigh almost nothing) But the spacers in the picture above will change geometry back to more stock'ish on a lowered car. The spacers on the V12 Touring will raise the car, which seems strange to me. Maybe theres some sort of bastardized setup underneath there with extra short springs/shocks to it would need raising. Only reason i can dream up to add those shocktower spacers.

Its as easy as in combination coilovers and those camber plates the spacers spacers had to be made to get the ride height right. Cheap, home made and working.

Yea. I'll post a "build" thread in a few days when the wrapping part is done.
