Speaking of HDR, far too many people over cook them when trying to do it. Here is one of my favorite HDRs of Mine. Taken winter of 11/12 right around new years sometime along US 2. GNP on the left side of the road along with mostly straight ahead, and the great bear wilderness in the flathead national forest on the right. its about 50mins form my house to here.

This is not really "HDR" how the kids think about it. The HDR is adding to the quality of the photograph. Not drowning it.

I've been on one of those. Spent a week on the USS Tortuga. It was a blast. Shot M16s off the flight deck. Got to watch exercises with the LCAC and go on it. Unfortunately all te pictures are on film, I'll have to see if I can dig them up. This was pre-9/11 BTW, doubt you could do that now.
