Got a DD from my buddy and also a member here on R3v. Installed the suspension (mr2 rear) on the fronts and Camaro rear shocks. Super impressed how firm the ride is with the vogtland springs.

Thanks! The E30 photos were taken with my new-ish Sigma 85mm, I'm glad you like my site! I shoot with different bodies, my main is the sony A7Rii and my backup is a Canon 6D with majority of the Sigma art lens.
I love the progress of your car, I remember seeing it for sale on CL a while back which made me go back into the E30 game again.

Interesting - they used a purpose built chip just for the turn signals, and from a German manufacturer.
I wouldn't be surprised if there was more then one version of them using different parts. BMW seems to always double down on their suppliers (see also VDO and motometer cluster) and a dozen outer parts like wheels (bbs and others).
