The possessive pronoun “one's” requires an apostrophe before the S, unlike “its,” “hers,” and other personal pronouns. Examples: “pull oneself up by one's own bootstraps,” “a jury of one's peers,” “minding one's own business.”
I knew something like this would come in return. :D Thanks anyway! And yes, I'm ashamed of my English. I wouldn't believe myself, that I'm speaking/writing English every day since about two decades ;-) Sadly only technical IT-English.
You are only allowed to criticize ones German when you speak fluent English.
