B. Braked really hard from traveling in a backward direction
Ever flown in an airplane? At takeoff you are pushed back into the seat, yes?
Are you M4d Tite Dorifto? Because even when your drifting centripetal force pulls on the car and the body laterally.
Centripetal force is the force that makes it feel like your being pulled to the right when you take that highway offramp that curves to the left at 80 mph.
Of course the ground places an upward force on the car...otherwise it would sink into the ground. Go get some more book lurnin in ya, then come talk to me about some fizix
Do not insult my intelligence when you're obviously wrong in your first statement when you claimed there is no such thing as centrifugal forces. There are, and you should do some research before you try to prove a point. High school physics huh? Is that as far as you made it? I sympathize with you if so but think you should further your education.
No, I'm not a mad-tyte-dorifto guy or whatever the fuck you internet losers are calling it. The comment was made in the context of the text provided by the picture and the interpretation. Neither of which you understood. I mentioned if the car were in drift, around a centerpoint, there would be a force pushing the dog into the back of the seat (which I'm assuming is what the photoshopper meant). If the car were in a straight line acceleration, there would be no centripetal/centrifugal accelerations b/c the car is not moving on a curve. Once again, this issue is within the text of the caption provided and the picture. You interpret it one way, I interpret it the other.
"A mass undergoing curved motion, such as circular motion, constantly accelerates toward the axis of rotation. This centripetal acceleration is provided by a centripetal force, which is exerted on the mass by some other object. In accordance with Newton's Third Law of Motion, the mass exerts an equal and opposite force on the object. This is the "real" or "reactive" centrifugal force: it is directed away from the center of rotation, and is exerted by the rotating mass on the object that originates the centripetal acceleration."
You're also wrong about the onramp/offramp statement. See quoted section above and/or my original response for clarification. Simply search for centripetal force and centrifugal force on the web.
