When I lived in MI, was working a sewer/road job in lansing. We had a this annoying city cop that used to drive though the site all the time (day night working or not) just because he thought he could. He would constantly bitch to the City engineer that would come back to us Via the inspection crew that we were "impeding" his ability to do his job.
Well after a particularity HOT and long July day babysitting/helping, Curb/Concrete guys we all spit at 5 (Little early). I get home in time to see the little woman watching the 6pm news. Well she says hey is this your job???? (our equipment is painted a unique color)
Well the story was a Cop drove though a construction site and got stuck, IN THE FRESH POURED CONCRETE, it was the last curb and approach that was poured that day where it was tapered into the existing cross road. We had all kinds of barrels, barricades, fence and caution tape u all over the place, but mr power trip thought those didnt apply to him.
