one guy owns these 3 beautiful white ladies.

I know that E9 rather well and it has a bit of an interesting history. It used to be the daily drive of one of the guys who worked on the McLaren F1 project. He also owns a JPS E21 323i and an E34 M5. Anyway, he decided he wanted to do an E9 track car, but thought that the this one was too nice for that. So he sold it onto to another BMW Car Club QLD member.....who is turning it into a track car himself anyway. I can't wait to have two Group 5 E9 replicas at our track days!

Anyway, as for the GTR, I don't know exactly why he bought it (he already owned it when I met him), but he currently tracks it whilst the E9 is being built. And for the record - he refers to it as....his Datsun.

My missus snapped these photos of it at a track day earlier in the year.
