You can't be serious. Look closely at the drawings, the line work is PERFECT, too good and uniform to be done by hand. And the images of the robot chassis are clearly CG renderings. Google it, you'll find it's a rendering done using an old Russian textbook of some kind of machine schematics.

Ever really studied art? I don't mean this modern crap. A lot of the 1940's era art is phenomenal when it comes to "perfect lines".
