I found a picture of the poorly attempted "after" picture. This was just before or right when he began the resto.

Don't know if there are different models or sizes of these Datsun roadsters. But found this one with a sbf in it!

Unfortunately I'm not super close with him and more and don't have any photos of it. I loved that car as a kid though -- I dreamed of him giving me the keys when I turned 16. It had a hard top, but my dad is 6'6" and could only drive it with the top off.

I would love to get one for myself some day -- they'll always have a place in my heart.

I'm curious too -- what do stock roadster wheels look like? I never see the same set of wheels in photos. Does the blue one at the top of this page have stock wheels?
Cool. I wonder who has the car now? Here are stock roadster wheels on a 67.5 2000

                      Stock 1500 wheel

The stock steel wheels tend to flex a lot. They don't inspire a lot of confidence mid corner.

Yep, I posted this photo back on page 1634. It's a Frank Lloyd Wright.

I only remember because I posted it. That photo I posted above was his only design in Idaho. A beautiful studio house that was designed at his hight, and for one of the smallest commissions he earned on a house. It's the "Teater Studio" home. The current owner has written a few books about it.

studio as in one big room?
Is the toilet and shower also in the same room?
