The BMW 3000. I see a lot of this car's rear end in the 510 and B210. It's amazing how much the Japanese plagiarized in the early days.
    Huh, never really noticed that.

That is a gorgeous profile. The curves.

^^^ oh my.... My younger son got to sit in one of these a few years ago, when we were picking up some Alfa parts from a guy with quite a garage.

250 GT California Spyder - I like the SWB best.

Amazing. What a gentleman's car. I'm not a fan of kit cars - other then a bathtub speedster - but, I could drive a fake version of that and be totally ok with me being a poser.

I think that's the same as my avatar car, 250 tdF. What a backside. And look at the genius of the lines and proportions. Look at how the rear quarter louver panel starts to roll over onto the rear deck, in the same way an early 911 quarter window rolls away from vertical, or the quarter windows on a Daytona coupe - similar detail.

I love the way someone has clamped the bootlid shut. "It's a race car dammit, we don't have time for your fancy latches!"

Zagato - unbelievable that people hammered these out by hand to match a model or a sketch... I'd like to know how they fabricated the glass.

We just got our Maserati back from the bodyshop. Repainted the hood, straightened out the bumper and replaced the grille, and banged out a few crimps in the hood. Looks great!
