Oh well, its being used to its full potential, I guess. Am I missing more to the E30 story? What happened to it? Or are we speaking about the E36?
Like that? I bought that last summer from Alex along with a spare trunk lid. After tracking the car it definitely needed some down force in the rear. 130ish with no aero into turn one at BIR was a bit sketchy. I never got around to painting the spare trunk lid as it came from Alex in the Daytona Violet. The new owner got it painted and mounted for last months session at Road America.

And yes, the car is now in the hands of a local guy that is taking very good care of it. The thread is actually about my old E36 M, which I sold about 2 years ago. I miss her dearly...

I'd miss her too. I've always liked the E36--it came out when I was in middle school, and in my mind it's the quinessential BMW. I'd love to own one.

But I like my E30 too. :) Good luck with your new E30.

I'm not the biggest e36 fan out there... but I drove a e36 Dinan M3 that came into the shop the other day, HOLY FUCKING SHIT that thing was a beast. and I didn't even get into it, I want that motor in my car.

I'm also a big fan of your old e30.
