Took the Land Cruiser to Pep Boys to have the AC serviced as I may end up in any number of states and want to be able to use my warranty if it does not sell. I was followed in the LS which we parked in front. Checked the signs nothing but an anti gridlock law warning.
We go in, 5 minutes later come out to a freaking ticket. The guy is there so I tell him I am not illegally parked, I point to the sign that I am parked under and he has the nerve to say the parking sign is almost 1/4 mile away at Overland Bl! For those familiar I was at the Pico & Overland store in W.L.A. and it is a very long block.
Upon closer investigation it appears the parking sign was stolen but I freaking did not take it. I point this out to the guy and he says do you see any other parked cars? This was at 9am, I thought I was lucky. I say no just yours (he was behind my car) he says something like he can park illegally so I say "then here is your ticket" & I put it under HIS wiper. He starts screaming at me and I just smile, laugh and walk away. I figure I shared the aggrivation.
I went back after getting my camera and took these pictures. When the ticket comes in the mail I'll see how busy I am, what the fine is and decide if my time is worth that amount. No way a judge will uphold this ticket when there was no sign but it will depend on what is going on at that time. I'll most likely just pay it.
