I love literal costumes like that. Last year, a female friend of mine when as a "shooting star". She made a giant star-shaped sandwich board and had stars all over her arms and head, and she carried around 2 airsoft guns. Then year before last, we dressed my friend Drew up as a "chick magnet", we hot glued Barbie dolls all over him.
