    Creationist + tax fraud = ?

"Kent "Dr. Dino" Hovind, founder of Creation Science Evangelism and the Dinosaur Adventure Land creationist theme park in Florida ("where Dinosaurs and the Bible meet!"), and his wife face more than 200 years in jail for tax fraud. Yesterday, Dr. Dino was found guilty on 58 counts, including not paying an $845,000 employee-related tax bill."

I love all the double standards in "religion".

you're right ... you've found me out ... I too am being tried for tax fraud, smoking crack, and groping a 14 yr old choir boy.

Maybe it's just me, but I feel that people in charge of religious organizations that claim to stand on the moral high ground should act accordingly.

The guy was in hot water for the same thing like 10 years ago, I think, but managed to weasel his way out of it. I know people that watch his seminars religiously, and I think its pathetic that Christians aren't more discerning. It's also pathetic that people like Kent Hovind are willing to drag Christianity around in the mud to make a buck. That's the only kind of "Christian" that most Americans ever see...

I agree with that, good observation.

It's unfortunate that religions are judged on the basis of a few incompetant individuals....
