I hate spending money on a car that isn't my E30...

    Sigh...

$90 today to get my snow tires mounted on the Accord and a new battery. And I still have to replace the driver side front corner turn signal housing and bulb, because it's completely broken out, and if one of them doesn't work, none of them do. So I've got no turn signals presently. Mad props to my brother for taking such great care of his car.

Fun stuff. I hate spending money on a car I don't even like.

Yep, I know what you mean. I hate spending money on anything if it is not going on my e30. That remindes me, I have to pay my insurance for my honda, fuck:crazy:

Yeah, I had to take my insurance off of the E30 and swap it to the Honda for the winter. Which isn't a big deal, but now I REALLY can't drive the E30 anymore until the spring.

I still have my e30 on my insurance, but scince it is away for the winter, I put it on what my insurance company calls "lay-up" It is still insured, but with the super-low basic stuff that you could not even get if you were driving. It covers things like damage from if something fell on it or something.

I want to move somewhere warm so I can drive my E30 all year round. Winter sucks up here. I think I had 8 months of driving it this year!

Thanks man. That actually made me feel a little bit better.

But I'm still miffed. New control arms? Oh wait, I've got to spend more money on the stupid Honda... Oh well. At least my E30 gets to stay in the nice, warm garage over the winter.

Try having to spend $150 on an Optima instead of new snowboard bindings. :( Unexpected expenses suck.

Unexpected expenses I can deal with. The point is having to drop a bunch of money into a car I don't even want to spend money on.

I bought a Redtop last night too. My battery died twice this week.

My GTI needs a gas tank. Money I'd rather spend on shit for the E30.

Yea...Ive got it "lucky" with a 2002, 325 and 325is...money is CONSTANTLY thrown at all of them... this last year, bought the 325 (euro bumpers, analog clock, is spoiler and shift knob + Oil changes), 325is (turbo setup w/ MS etc, wheels, bumper swap, M-tech 1 spoiler, wheels/tires and painted 2 summers ago). The 2002 (Rebuilt motor with Dual valve springs, SS valves, cam and all new seals/bearings, electronic ignition, rebuilt driveshaft, new guibo and a replacement transmission.)
