Okay, there was this mint e30, a 325i four door five speed with only 108,000 miles for sale on ebay that was only an hour away from where I live. I figured it would go for well over $4000, so I kept bidding it up, but there was somebody who must have put a high maximum bid on it because I was never highest bidder. Well, the price was still low with yet one minute left, so just to amuse myself, I bid the price up $.01.

Upon further review of the bidding history, I see that I made an even bigger error besides being a moron. My last bid, which was not intended to win the auction, was in fact a typo, and was a much higher bid than the $.01 that I intended. Even still, if I had only bid that one cent higher, I think I still would have won the auction?!? Now I'm sort of confused as to what I did. Fuck, I think I need to get my hands chopped off. No more ebaying for me...

Moral of the story: don't dick around on ebay or you'll do something like i just did
