Yeah... when we did that with the TMX Elmo they were up to $300 a piece for the first 12-14hrs after launch and then the bottom fell out and I only made $10 profit on each after shipping and all the auction fees.

I told the guy $2500.00 and he's sitting on it. Not trying to get greedy cause I think a $1700+ profit is fair for my 2 days spent camping for this thing.

I'm camping out at the Mongomery Ward waiting for the new Atari 2600 to be released!! They said it's 1000x times better than Pong or Intellivision, I think I'm gonna try to score Donkey Kong and Galaga with the console, WOOHOO!!!

Hmm Bret, 95% of the membership wasn't born in '81. They have no idea what Atari 2600 is.

As soon as I paid a guy offered $2000 cash for it but I declined. I told him I would take $3000 cash and he said he would call before lunch CST to let me know.

Tara seems to think I should ebay it considering the $5,000 price tags. I would rather take $3000 cash for it and not deal with eBay fees, Paypal fees, and the risk of getting defrauded.
I can't believe you turned down $2k cash for it.

I just looked on Ebay, 2400 and change for one. Why? would you spend 4 times as much for one of these when in a month or so inventory should be caught up with demand.

Is it like your existing PS II is dead? Supply and demand is great but 1800 other dollars I would rather go on a two week vacation or add to my IRA.

                  I listed it for $3000.01 "Buy-it-Now"

Guys wife said she didn't want him spending that much on a video game console and I don't blame him.

Does anyone know why some people's "Buy it Now" stays after people bid and on some auctions it goes aways after the first bid?

                      Like I said,

look at the username of the winning bidder, it's probably a professional football player

Depends if there is a reserve or not. If there is no reserve on the auction the BIN price will go away as soon as the first bid is placed. If there IS a reserve however, it will stay until that reserve has been met.
