Warsteiner is just the tip of the iceberg grasshopper. There are countless beers that blow it away.

And dont generalized American beer. There are many unpasturized brews made to the purity standards locally that are awesome. The ones you are thinking of are the mass produced, rice brewed, ones.

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM BEER, Why are you all starting so late in life? Nor my friends or myself let that pesky 21 drinking age stop us, all it ment when we turned 21 was we could now do everything we had been doing since we were 15 legally.

    MY faves in order
corona, killians red, bud light and then beer in general

I don't know about the other two, but Corona is nasty.

My picks this week included the ordinary shit along with:

    Budweiser Budvar (Czech)
    Sol (Mexican)

Budvar is pretty interesting, mostly because its Czech and claims to be the real Bud. Sol is nuts, someone spilled coffee in that brew - definitely worth a try for the adventurous.

Yes, I love Guinness. Also try a Belgian lager called Stella Artois. That's pretty good too.

Most people hate beer in the begining, and grow to love it. [Myself included]

Correction, Tom. Portland has the most microbreweries of any city in the entire world. We passed up Cologne, Germany a year or so ago.

That being said, I still pretty much drink Deschuttes exclusively.

I'm addicted to Cascade Lakes Brewery's (local brewery) Blonde Bombshell.

If you can find it, try it. It's fucking awesome.

I'm with you. I used to hate the taste of beer, and wondered how people could drink it.

It's different once you try good beer.
I was in Germany for a week over the summer, and found out how delicious Hefe Weissen is.
