Yea, It really is great when you have good beer. It is really tough for me to stomach the crap we drink here in the dorms...busch light, Milwakees Best, Natural Ice, PBR and all that garbage that is .50 cents or less a can. I hang out with some people that are older than me and they always have really good beer and some microbrews etc. Those actually taste good.

I love Blue Moon. Actually had it for the first time tonight and ended up drinking a little too much of it. Of course it was on draft which makes anything taste better than out of a bottle.

New Castle is probably one of my favorites though.

I always assumed that too, but a good friend that went there recently confirmed that that is not true. I like the way he put it, "its no better than it is here, but it is better than anything else you can get there"
I love arguing with people that say "american Beer sucks, european beer is soo much better" well having been to europe I can say that Myth is Busted. The only good beer I drank in Europe was a bottle of Chimmay, which I can but at anywhere in town.

glad to see someone hates that shit as much as I do.

    Wrong, wrong, wrong.

It tastes like skunk piss. :finger:

Bud Light and Coors Light are beers for people who don't like the taste of beer, or you need to quickly get the acrid flavor of Evan Williams out of your throat. Might as well slam back a cold Smirnoff Ice.

    LOL

It is one of my more tolerable "mainstream" beers though.

You picked possibly the two of the worst import beers (aside from Heineken). Guinness has absolutely NO taste for a stout. It tastes like some one put Wonderbread in a blender. (Although I've heard that the shipping preservitives spoil it and it's much better in Ireland).

Don't even get me started on Stella. Here's an real world analogy for you: Stella is to Belgium (and the rest of Europe) as Busch is to the United States. Seriously. My hat is off to their marketing team because they pass it off here like it's the Dom of beers, while in Europe they hardly even advertize it because every one over there already knows it tastes like piss and is dirt cheap. Don't let yourselves get sucked into their marketing scheme.

I'm just beginning to learn. ;)

Warsteiner just happened to open me up to beer that actually had flavor.
