I just spent $400

On fucking cleaning supplies! I don't want my new car to have the paint go south like my E30's did over the years, so I bought a Porter Cable, the Pinnacle Souveran swirl remover/exterior kit, and the interior leather & vinyl kit (as well as a lot of other small things).

I'll be posting up before and after pics this weekend.

I know the feeling, I bought the full Zaino kit and Lexol leather supplies, plus all new cloths and other misc. stuff.

I still need to pick up a porter cable, where'd you get yours at?

We have a local shop called The Driver's Seat that sells tons of detailing supplies and car accessories like Momo stuff. I bought it all there because it was the same price as online and the guy was really helpful (he gave me $40 off for buying a lot).

Porters are great, you'll love it! It's truly amazing the difference between polishing by hand, and polishing using the orbital buffer. It will blow your mind. I just bought about $170 worth of pads and Menzerna products about a month ago. I have yet to do the full treatment, but am soo looking forward to it.

I wish I cared more about my paint.
I've got so many chips and scratches, it's no longer worth caring so much. But I guess if you want to really take the time to keep the paint good it only helps keep up the value of the car.
