So lame, I COULDNT camp like I wanted to soo bad. The release date ended up to be on a lame ass field trip I had to take 2 hours away from home for school. So I wouldnt be in town to camp....

Hard to tell, right now there is certianly a market for them, and they still actually are selling for less than they did when the auctions were only for the preordered ones. The only thing I'd worry about around xmas time would be the availability of the systems by then. I'm sure they still won't be readily availble at all, especially by all the shoppers but the amount out there in existance would be higher with a chance of picking one up in a store. I believe that for a little while most will be sold as bundles though after this preorder and midnight dash craze, so the prices may go up in the stores just due to the packaged games you/they may or may not want. Guess that doesnt really apply, but selling now or then, there's no way to know what would be better.

6 friends and i camped out infron of a best buy since tus afternoon!! and the reason is simple...my ebay auction ended today for 3850 two of my friends above 4600, others idk but one got unlucky and made 3250... none of us still own one.

+ we played soccer, drank beer and fucked around with another 40ppl (only 34 came to our best buy!!) for 3days = priceless.

i'll just get one 4months from now lol...i'm not like those fanatics willing to pay (saw an auction for 5100!!). maybe they export to south american countries and make a lot of money...go to venezuela with 3-4 ipods, sell them to a computer store and you'll finance the entire trip including alcohol, plane ticket, hotel and still have left over!

College "field trips" FTL, they are soooo boring. Normally I just skip and do the makeup work to get a B on it, but this was a huge all day thing so I didnt think I should risk it.

If I was smart at the time, I should just called in and said I would be there just an hour late or so, easily would have gone over fine with my teacher.

Atleast the WII comes out monday, they are going for $600ish on ebay now. Might be able to score some quick cash.

i highly doubt it. im pretty sure anyone that wants a wii will be able to walk into any store that would sell them whenever they feel like it and buy one. the supply is supposed to be huge. most of the places around here are getting 100+

Seriously, what the fuck is the point of buying these new game systems right when they come out?

- It costs $100-150 more than it will in a year
- The launch games all SUCK
- There's almost ALWAYS something wrong with the hardware
- The launch games all SUCK.

The number one reason people lose their minds and spend thousands of dollars on this shit when it comes out? So they can tell everyone they got one. That is THE ONLY real reason, and you can deny it all you want. By next christmas, I'll buy one when the price drops to about $300 or so, and the price of games drops by about $20, all the Joneses who camped out in front of Wal-Mart for 3 days will feel like idiots for paying twice what I paid and freezing their asses off with the rest of the guys with no girlfriends.
