Rrear-end accident? Neck sore? What to do?

I got hit from behind at about 30mph from a dead stop more or less. Launched us 7 or 8 car lengths(still can see it in slow mo) - so My neck is stiff - I can't sleep.

Do you "wait" it out - go to the doc? (I have no insurance) or what? - A cocktail helped - but I'm at the point if I take a pinky finger and push on my forehead - that strains my neck musles to make it hurt.

I don't want to be a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles - but I've never been in an accident EVER - Oh and I was driving a friends car.

A.) will my neck get better
b.) What to do? - I'm clueless

Go to the Dr. immediately. Rear end accidents are almost always the person that is in back's fault. they will pay, eventually. Car insurance has medical. GO NOW.

Get to the hospital/doctor immediately. You might not feel it initially but your neck could be seriously injured. In june I was in an accident that sounded much like yours. My summer was fucked because of it. Forget being a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles, if you don't deal with this properly you could have back problems for years to come. It took me 4 months to fully recover from my accident.

Record every single pain you have by date in an excel speadsheet or something. This will help when dealing with an insurance company.

both my dad and my best friend had this kind of experience, for my dad they gave him a cortosone (sp?) shot in his neck, and my friend ended up getting back surgery.

Word, get to a Doc immediately. I pray to the gods that you got the person's car insurance info. They'll cover all of the bills.

If you are going to be stubborn and not go, take some ibuprofene or (this really works) TANSTON (the thing girls use for the monthly pains).

That will relieve tha pain, but it will not cure you of any injury.

George, didn't you call your agent? Didn't they tell you to go to the ER immediately? I hope and pray cops were called, that you got witnesses, that you got info.

Next time, do NOT drink or drug AT ALL, get yourself to the ER directly.

Here are the basic proirities in being involved in a wreck:
1. Info: DL#, insurance info, address.
2. Witnesses.
3. Cops.

It's alot different then most other chiropractic all the adjustment, they put a medal stylus behind your ear at a certain angle and you don't even feel anything. Seek medical attention. You don't want chronic athritis to pop up in a few years because you didn't take car of the problem now.
