I took the gas tank out of my shelby charger today, and i had everything disconnected but it would not come out. After i gave it a good yank it fell out of there. Here someone ran a selftapper bolt through the floor into the gas tank. When i seen this i was like WTF! I haven't looked to see what they tried to bolt down since it is under the back seat.

Here are some pics of mine, They made a total of 7,669 in 1986 with 2,994 red ones that year. it looks far better then the POS racing one. I'm still putting it together so stuff ain't all hooked up yet.
The motor is a 2.2 turboII with venolia pistons, turbonetnics t3 t4 hybrid turbo, 58mm tb, 2 piece intake. ported and polished head,intake,and exhaust manifold, 53lbs/hr injectors,255 lph welbro fuel pump, FMIC,and some other stuff. I had this motor in another car, runnin 17psi of boost and it ran very good in the daytona. now it is in a charger witch is not as heavy as a daytona and i put a little bigger cam this time and a better clutch so i can't wait till it is done to see how it runs, plus i'm going to get the computer reprogramed for 19 psi with a 23 or 24 psi boost cut out so i can up the boost from 19+ when ever i want to with my electronic greddy boost controler.Last edited by JasonC; 01-23-2007, 11:31 PM.
