    What a tool .

Reminds me of those vids posted up a while back of several Mustangs that lost it trying to show off on a straight street and ended up hitting oncoming cars .

On a side note , I've been on that OK Highway Patrol test track . Woot .

No shit. Maybe he should learn to drive something with a little less power...

i think that he should put that car on a drag strip instead of a autox course. Him or that little fox body don't like turns.

I don't see what makes him a tool, yeah, he was being too heavy on the throttle, but the guy was responsible enough to take it to a track.

Accidents happen, does this make every guy that's lost control and wrecked in a race a tool? Mustang might not be the right car for AutoX, but why does that matter? He went out to have a good time and maybe try something new with his drag car since he probably can't afford a more nimble car or just prefers drag racing over AutoX and doesn't want something more suited for it. Or hell, maybe he just loves his car and doesn't care it doesn't handle too great.

I can't blame him, i love AutoX, but from time to time, i like taking my car to the drag to see what it'll do.

                  meh was he drunk?

what makes him a tool is how bad of a driver that guy is. forget the car and the power, he couln't handle it. accidents happen, he'll get better although i'm sure everyone else had an amazing time watching him:drink:

What made him a tool was that, even on a track, he was driving the vehicle well beyond its capability. The rear end got squirelly once, then again and again. He was absolutely gunning the throttle through parts of the course, and at one point he spun pretty close to a staging area with parked cars and spectators.

Yes, its good to exercise your car on the track and not in a Home Depot parking lot. But going to the track is also about safety, understanding your limits and building skill, two things this guy repeatedly did not demonstrate. How the fuck was he surprised that he lost control over and over again?

That said, I love fox body 'stangs.

Seemed like he couldn't figure out the limits of his driving ability. He doesn't seem very smart because he crashed/spun out like a half dozen times, yet he was still mashing the gas to the floor and whipping the steering wheel all over the place.

                      edit: what he said^

It seemed like the more frustrated he got the heavier he got on the throttle.

                          /\/\/\/\ what he said!

driver needs to calm down and with every run be even more calmer! Even though I never auto-x in my life... or drove a manual car as my own I understand his mistake... being frustrated about something that's not gonna happen in 1 turn anyway!

I can see both sides, yeah, he doesn't know how to drive and he has alot of learning to do, i didn't watch passed the wreck so obviously i don't know what happened after it. Seems like he was just out to have a good time and didn't care about his time and wanted to push the limits. Seems like he started getting pissed because he couldn't find where the limit was. :P

I've a friend with a Fox Body 'stang, i can see why this guy is having so much trouble, those cars have stupid short wheel bases and are VERY unpredictable so like stated above, determining the limit is hard.

I wouldn't call him a tool though for being responsible enough to take it to the track.

OMG. He just sucks, uses the throttle as an on-off switch. The sound is godly tho.

                              Keep it slideways!!
