I'm moving for Indio, California for 6 months in June...whos there?

Is anyone like...in Indio? I know of tons in LA and San Diego - but I was wondering if anyone was in Indio.

I'll be going down cause I'll have a coop with Granite Construction. It should start mid June and go until mid December.

If you can tolerate the heat, you can play some pretty sweet courses for cheap in the summer.

My fave out there is the Mountain Course at La Quinta, but there are so many to choose from.

PGA West, Any of the La Quinta courses that are open to the public, Desert Springs, etc. etc.

No lie - they are cheap if you go at the right time. My fave @ PGA west is the palmer course... favorite course in the valley is The Tradition; my buddy was an assistant there for a while and I got to play it a lot in peak season - sucked to come home and play in OR in the rain :(

Only time I went to cali I couldnt believe the traffic/smog issues. I wouldnt be able to stand those two issues. Thank god the longest traffic jam I encounter in NH is the 3 car lineup for the drive thru atm.
