Bet you won't lift anything that heavy next time right?

EDIT: Oh yeah, and when I cut my fish, it's usually ass to throat, so your fine with 3" :P

I actually don't think it was from lifting anything heavy. Nothing that I lift at work is heavy enough to cause it, the doctor said that many things can cause them. He said it's probably more likely that I did it snowboarding a few weeks ago, when I ate shit and did a few cartwheels down the run.

Glad you're okay. My dad went through the same surgery last year and he did fine.

Thanks guys, I appreciate all the kind words. I just have to take it easy is all. Shit, taking the bandage off tonight before I took a shower was one of the worst parts so far. It's not easy looking down and seeing a 4" long incision less than 1" from your wedding tackle...

36 years, never been cut on yet. (Fingers crossed).

Closest I came was when they did a spinal tap on me a few years ago when I had meningitis.

Yeah, this was my first surgery. I was ok until the took me into the operating room, and there's all that equipment, those big ass lights on the ceiling, that sterile hospital smell, I started to get really nervous then. But when the put the oxygen mask on and injected the anesthesia into my IV, that didn't last long. :D

You never really notice how much you use certain muscles until you need them. I pulled something in my shoulder a while ago and little things like turning a wrench, or even brushing my teeth hurt like hell.

Feel better, take it easy man.

Wait, this wasn't done with the scope? I had like a 1 in. scar and one little tiny one. 4 seems big.

They weren't able to do it using that method, they had to make a larger incision and go in a different way. The condition and severity of my case made it so they couldn't do it with the scope and the little incisions.
