Unfortunetly, the only turbo Foz we got out here was the newer 2.5XT
Speakin of which, wanna send me a new GT hood? *nudge
I had to drill my stock hood and the fit is terrible. I need one for the
MY98 w/ EJ25 its a serious turbo explosive issue since im top mount
not front. Think your years are MY97/8 ST/bLeave a comment:

Realistically, the auto's in subes are safer than the manuels, subes
weakest link is the "class clutch" syndrome. If you get a Subie, get
an Exedy (or greater) clutch. My friends STi is on his 4th clutch so
far.Leave a comment:

My girlfriends parents have an 05 Forester and it really is a pretty sweet car. They have an auto though so that was a major downer.Leave a comment:

I have one and give you a huge thumbs up, it's an imprezza minus aI'm still toying with the idea of getting something for winter driving/hauling my DH bike/going places I'd rather not take my e30 and I've noticed a few Foresters for sale near me at what seems to be reasonable prices. What do you guys think of them and how is their longevity? Most of the ones I would actually by able to justify affording have well over 100k, which doesn't scare me on BMWs or Volvos, but it does one anything else...
turbo and with a higher roof. I just finished (earlier this year) an STi
swap on my Forester, 320awhp after a new clutch (Exedy S2) and
uncorked the ECU. It's fast, it's fun, and cops don't give me a second
look.
Don't worry about miles, Boxer engines own. Depending on the year
try changing out your head gaskets, old (MY98/99) have gaskets
that aren't up to par, anything around 125k should be immediatly
taken care of, good or not. Switch your fluids to full synthetic (trust
me) and you'll have a bitchin car. Remember, since anything on an
impreza will directly bolt up to your car have fun, I just put a WRX
dash in mine, look sweet. If you have any questions hit me up.Leave a comment:

Relax man, it's all good. Just do your research first, the hippies are all about Crocs now, I'm serious! ;)Leave a comment:

I'd probably go with a roof rack, I have a slew of thule and yakima bike stuff around here that I could use. I honestly just can't justify putting a roof rack on my e30 though because it ruins the look. I used to be able to fit my RM6 w/ Super T fork in my Volvo 240 too. It's just a thought for now, I wanted to see what you guys though of them.Leave a comment:

Well let me put it this way. If you don't want to take your bike apart at all and fit it inside, your only options are pickup and suv brick (and people carrier). That leaves you with either minimal disassembly (front wheel, seat maybe back wheel and fitting it into a wagon, or clipping one of those trunk racks or roof racks on the car. I can fit my BigHit with MonsterT in my e34 525it if I take front wheel off. That's with folder rear seats. Actually my friend has a Thule roof rack that he might sell. The one where you put whole bike on the roof. Let me know.Leave a comment:

If you knew ANYTHING about hippie culture you'd know that birkies are out and Crocs are all the rage. Now if you want to start an SUV debate take it over to e30tech where it already started and died off.Leave a comment:

that made me smilei lol at the SUV haters. can your subaru tow a boat(no) can your wagon seat 6 comfortably(no) can your wagon seat 6 comfortably AND tow a boat or trailer(see above answers)
so put your birkenstocks back on, grap a bag of organic granola, hop in your hybrid wagon, drive out to the forest and hug a fucking tree:up:Leave a comment:
