Please don't start giving me a bunch of shit about how they play, or how they don't play with enough skill. I really just don't care. I enjoy listening to the music, period. I get enough of that shit from the friends I have that are all obsessed with Tool. And I'm sorry, but those minute-long patches of virtuoso fingerboard solos are just masturbation to me. Give me a few licks of it here and there, but it gets really boring after a while. See; DragonForce.

Beating a dead horse here, but those minute long patches of virtuoso fingerboard solos is what separates a good guitar player from a open chord playing robot. Full song breakdown sessions aren't exactly that great to listen to either. .02
