It seems to me that this is an interesting project. The main thing is that there is a high-quality and safe implementation of these ideas.

I like that he's releasing the info on his "freevalve" setup, but a little worried he's going to get a C&D from Koenigsegg at some point.

Looking at how much a good set of cams/springs/lifters go for on an M5x, something like this might be appealing in the maybe-near future

This guy's videos have been doing the rounds on a few groups I follow.
He has a few videos on the car, some about a custom engine he wants to design, and one where he retrofits pneumatic valve actuators (a la Koenigsegg Freevalve) in a HF single cyl engine and actually manages to make it run.
