                                                    Looks like target fixation to me, very common term in the motorcycle world. Something bad happens, you look at what you are afraid you're going to hit, and as a result you drive straight for it.

                                                    In this case it looks like the suspension unloaded enough for him to loose grip. When he felt the loss of traction he straightened the wheel and panic braked, rather than compensating for the unloaded suspension and staying off the brakes to salvage what precious traction he had left.

                                                    I lost a friend of mine a few years ago to this at Deals Gap. R6 in front of him highsided, and he went head on into a tree at 80mph.
