e30 325is vs e60 525i

I want to race some girl in her 525i in my e30...think i'll win? i know my jeep would destroy her car, but its got a v8.

Probably pretty even. It doesn't have much more peak power than you, but with double-vanos the torque curve is just about flat so she won't have to wait until 4k to get power like you. She also has a 5 speed auto with aggressive gearing to make up for the extra weight.

The e60 will win. I drove both stick and auto and both are fast.

wow i didn't know this but the 2006 525i has a 3liter 215hp engine. thats a LOT more than mine has. they also weigh 3450 pounds where E30's are much lighter. I have really basic all season tires right now so it would be hard to get a good launch. she'd probably beat me.

and they have a .28cd and a 150mph top speed.

HAHA the lil e30 might take her to 60 or so but I think the aero and the torque would easily win out in the long run.

At a 7.6 0-60 you guys should be fairly even up to 60 or so, I don't know how it'd be beyond that or at highway speeds.
