Big deal. Windows has been a copy of Apple's operating systems since day one. Microsoft didn't even creat DOS, they bought it from some guy in a computer shop in Washington for $2500. Microsoft knows how to market better, plain and simple. Everything in the world is a copy of something else.

Agreed. People take an idea, improve upon (or sometimes not) it and call it new. It's that simple. If people didn't do it, there would be no advancement in technology.

I can see everyone wanting one because of its features, but that thing is fucking HUGE. Judging from the pic on the first page, either that guy has REALLY small hands, or that thing is about the size of a checkbook. Isn't the whole point of a mobile device for it to be... mobile? I can't imagine being able to just stick that thing in your pocket. It's enormous.

Yeah, but when you think about it, how many of us carry an ipod, cell phone etc around with us all the time. I know more often than not, Ive got my ipod mini and my cheap ass cell phone around with me all the time. Could be cool to just combine it all into one.

I don't have an ipod, and my cell phone is always in the side carpenter pocket of my jeans. I purposely only buy carpenter jeans because of that pocket on the side, it's perfect cell phone size.

And combining all of those devices is great, my phone has an onboard Mp3 player, too. The thing is still absolutely HUGE, and will probably not fit into most pockets.



Check out this link. If it looked like almost any of the ones shown on this page, I would probably be impressed. The actual iphone comes in at just under the size of a Sony PSP. Who wants to carry something like that around all day? I can see professionals who carry briefcases or messenger-style bags, or girls with handbags, but the average person?

I think it's pretty bad ass, and I wouldn't be surprised if the regular iPod switches to a full screen design with a virtual click wheel (or something similar) on the screen.

I have Verizon (and Cingular blows monkey balls), so I won't be getting one anytime soon. But I still want it.

It's not even FCC approved yet, I don't see it coming out any time in the very near future.

Looks pretty bad ass. Lets hope it makes calls well, and isn't just a glorified iPod.
