If you think about it if all those uninsured people get hurt now, the middle class still carries the burden. Some illegal gets hurt now and has to go to the hospital, we still pay for it.

Well im talking more about the insurance. This will require every worker in California regardless of immigration status to be insured and if they can't afford it the state pays for it. The only thing that the hospital busines, AMA, and insurance companies agree on is that the consumer should have no input at all other than paying the tab. They don't care if it's premiums, taxes, or just a plain old check as long as they get paid. They're only arguing about who gets to decide how much the bill is.

It's shouldn't be about insurance, politics, or the rest - it's about healthcare.
The sytem sucks. We're way down there around 15th. or 20th. in the world. However, we're really good at getting $250,000 out of old white men in the last 6 months of their lives. In the meantime, we're 18th. in the world in infant mortality.
