You're right, soccer shouldn't be included in the same sentance.
Now show me two soccer players running full speed at each other with the intention of knocking the other guy the fuck out, on purpose.
Maybe there's more injuries in soccer because there are 10000X more players.
When was the last time a soccer player had a concussion....while playing the game??
IMO, every sport is better than soccer... This is my opinion, after playing it, watching it, discussing it...
As I said, I just dont get why the players must be little drama queens... it's incredibly annoying.
I'll take these sports over Football (aka. soccer) every day. Rugby, cricket, Baseball , and of course Motor racing.
Another thing... while I'm at it :p ... what is so hot about Victoria Beckham ? She's not all that IMO... not saying I wouldnt tap it though.

They wish they could play a real contact sport.

Beckham will have more effect on hollywood than he will on soccer in North America.
Soccer has never appealed to me because of how dramatic it is. Hockey FTW: super quick, very physical and if you wanna fight you only sit for 5.
Oh yeah, if you dive you get a penalty. Re-offenders face fines and possible suspensions.
Ill agree with ya here....drama sucks, hockey FTW. I had tickets to saturday nights carolina vs atlanta game, 3rd row, center ice, it was flippin awsome!! To bad Ward totally shocked during the shoot out!
FUCK OFF AND DIE LOSER.
Lemme guess you are an Arsenal fan.
Oh and bull fighting was in that quote as well, sorry!
No, I don't really have a team since I don't live there. I just cheer for teams with players I like. Michael Ballack is one of my favorites, so I don't mind seeing Chelsea win.
I love american ignorance/arrogance towards futbol. And how the "world" championships of anything the U.S. dominates at only involves U.S. teams and possibly a few Canucks. My personal favorite is "all who play it are pansies". cracks me up. I can post MANY MANY blatant fullspeed occurences when the sole purpose is to severely injure the other player. But then, thats not what you love when you love a sport, I dont know about American football fans, but I guess thats shown by America's foreign policy as well. As much violence and damage that can be caused is who wins. Theres the value. And since we on that topic, I think we beat you there too. We travel to other countries, sing synchornized chants, get beaten and beat police and opposing fans, and to us, futbol is the same was what religion or gang were apart of, I have never seen the blatant violence associated with futbol in football, even with fans. You cant wear certain jerseys in certain areas in Argentina and I assume in other parts of the world. Its not all about drinking beer and going to a bar and cooking a BBQ in the stadium parking lot. So even in this rediculous aspect, one which americans value and always have against "soccer", it wins. I dont think any sport is superior or inferior to another, but when people make stupid and completely ignorant comments, I defend what I like. The passion that is involved in futbol, doesnt exist in ANY other sport, thats a fact. But I suppose the whole world is wrong and the U.S. is right (sound familiar). Oh and the waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffless like Christiano Ronaldo, and others who make an art of diving and being bitches are loathed by us as well. FIFA should have done something about this long ago when the Brazilians perfected it, now its all over the place and detrimenting the game. Now they are thinking of doing something about it. Its bullshit and its unanimously looked down upon. It should not be a part of the game.

Here you are spouting about American arrogance yet you say this....
The passion that is involved in futbol, doesnt exist in ANY other sport, thats a fact.
I could go on and pull apart everything you said but it's pretty much pointless.
The fact remains, America doesn't like Soccer very much. Get over it.
