Interesting, is it a masked domain or something? What host? I assumed you had one or one hundred with a shared hosting package.

My friend hosts many domain names for me for free. He could give me one but I never asked for it.

Another counter point is I should have put an office phone number on there, but I don't have one and thats a cell phone.

That's pretty cool, always good to have friends in places of interest.

I don't see that as a problem, so many people, not just in design list their cell phone as a primary means of contact. It then appears like you care more about your clients than the next guy who leaves the office at 5.

I've actually been meaning to make a new business card since things will be slowing down at my day job, so I'll have more time to do freelance new media work. I also love my new domain: http://www.bur1on.com, this topic makes me want to get back on track and stop procrastinating, so I'll throw one together tonight. I seriously need to update the site though, bleh.

I stopped giving out my cell number about 6 months ago... but to this day, probably half of my calls are for BMW parts. My cell bill every month is $175. THAT sucks. People can call my landline, thankyouverymuch. :)

There are a couple ways to clean up those cards, now that i am not drunk and can be productive. I think they also look cheesy, as they do not have addresses. Real businesses have addresses, at the minimum a PO BOX -- it looks that at least you made an effort.

Thats my Maaco card , obviously , but I have a new one also for the new shop that I'm running .

I'll post up my new card from my new shop soon .
Just need to finalize the design before I get a new batch printed .

I've always felt that less is more on a card .

Phonetically it should be pronounced "tee-ger" but we've always pronounced it "tigger" . :D

Putting my cell phone on the card? I don't expect to get very many calls honestly. It's not like a BMW parts company, I can see how he gets a ton of calls nation wide.

I'll admit that I put my new card together in haste, as I need them here by next weekend when I am hopefully going to secure a lot of new contacts and I need personal cards to hand out. However, I only ordered 100. So when those run out, I will do some updates, hopefully having an email address @stasisproductions.com. I don't have a land line and its not practical for me to get one so I am going to stick with my cell phone, as I don't think too many people will call rather than email anyways. I don't even have my phone number on my web site. I think the only other questionable thing is the barcode on the card, but I might change that up as well.

Thanks for all the input though, I appreciate it and I think my next card could use improvement from the suggestions.
